Guru Nanak Charitable Society was founded by Dr. Kuldeep Singh and Dr. Malkeet Kaur in 2013 in order to support the weaker section of the society. By following the principles laid down by Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, we endeavor for all-inclusive service to humankind. Our NGO envisions serving the neediest and downtrodden sections of society in all their needs.

Vision statement:  We at guru nanak charitable society strongly believe that inequality of any kind be it social (power, religion, kinship, prestige, race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, and class) economic is the root cause of all the conflicts be it mental, social or physical being faced by the humankind, Inequality provokes societies to move to the extremes, making it hard to find a common ground, posing a serious challenge to peace, security, and the social contracts of nations. Inequality then turns into an existential threat. Rising inequality is not a natural or inevitable condition. This means we can do something to change it! It happens within and among countries. It is a product of policies, laws, institutions, social-cultural norms and practices, governance deficits, and the unequal distribution of wealth and power. We will not be able to bend the curve of inequalities, unless we deliberately invest a significant portion of our resources, including from national budgets, on people who have been marginalized such as women, young people, indigenous groups, persons with disability, older persons; seeing them not just as beneficiaries, but also as agents of change in their communities.

Activities: We endeavor to work toward our vision and achieve our mission by working in the areas of Child Rights, Poverty, Social Injustice, Environment Conservation, Human Rights, Care for elderly people, Women Empowerment, Wildlife Conservation, Animal Rights, Sanitation, and Hygiene, Humanitarian Relief, Health and Nutrition, Literacy and Education, Disease Control and skill development.
