Guru Nanak Charitable Society skill training center aims to develop a healthy attitude of healthcare workers towards work and life. In high-touch healthcare environments where collaboration is critical, healthcare workers need to display essential skills. These skills make them more effective in working within a healthcare team ultimately helping patients achieve their health goals. Our training Partner is National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). NSDC endeavors to create a sustainable and enabling skill ecosystem. In order to foster skill development across the country, NSDC provides funding support to enterprises, companies, and organizations to build capacity by extending resources, technical assistance, thought leadership, and knowledge management. Skill development training is an important element of the nation’s education initiative. Below there are some following points that encourage skill training in healthcare workers such as :-
- Skill training in healthcare workers helps to develop self-confidence and enhances individual employability.
- Guru Nanak Charitable Society provides opportunities to fulfill the needs of women, rural and tribal students, and the backward sections of society.
- The prime objective of our skill development training is to help people to discover/her own abilities and skills and use them in their profession.
- We provide opportunities in different areas of school learning and vocational exploration that will enable the learner to get several types of activities.
- Our prime motive of providing skill training to healthcare workers is to help the workers to acquire such duties, skills, responsibilities of a particular profession.
CSR PROGRAM WITH HDFC BANK
The term corporate social responsibility (CSR) refers to practices and policies undertaken by corporations that are intended to have a positive influence on the world. The key idea behind CSR is for corporations to pursue other pro-social objectives, in addition to maximizing profits. Examples of common CSR objectives include minimizing environmental externalities, promoting volunteerism among company employees, and donating to charity. Corporate social responsibility is a broad concept that can take many forms depending on the company and industry. Through CSR programs, businesses can benefit society while boosting their brands. Right now we are running a skill development program in collaboration with GE healthcare and HDFC for training the youth in advanced general duty assistant course which incorporates three months of theory classes and three months of on job training
